1/31/04^[1:20am]--I need to sleep...So had NO
tests today...Lindsey skipped first period and came to sit with us in the commons. She got hungry and got donuts I asked her
to bring back some for me. She offered em for free but I actually felt bad about it...so I gave her a buck to pay off the
donuts and I was set for Steinkamp's video. Watched Steinkamp's video called "Sexual Encounters of the Floral Kind."
I swear the commentator for the documentary was like some porn announcer. The music was the most screwed up stuff I've ever
heard...ranging from circus to elevator music. Then there was cal...made dumbest mistakes on test like forgetting the +C and
ln|x| instead of ln(x). So yeah screwed that up. Then we had a paper airplane tourney in English. Mine won cuz theirs was
total bull-looks good, flies like dirt. Made an Indian comment "see that's why the Chinese are suddenly doing so well in the
space race." Then we did usual shit in chem, and finished things off with a round of government. Got my oil changed, and inspection
guy told me my car had gas leak, oil leak, broken shocks, etc etc. Tells me that the gas leak my cause my car to blow up.
That's the main thing I'm worried about. I need a new car (current: 86 Lincoln Town Car). Dad thinks driving old beater builds
character...gonna build him a dead character for a son. Then did the math club stuff all the way to like 7 pm but had free
pizza. Gotta getup at 6:30am to get donuts and set up proctor lan party that Chris and I got the idea from my success last
year with the mass Starcraft lan party. So tired...And Jas calls for no reason a few minutes ago and scaring shit outta me
cuz I thought it was mom. So gonna sleep now...too tired...laterz...
1/27/04^[10:27pm]--So chem hw turned out to be due tomorrow...and then I bombed bio test...seems
like a lot of ppl are...but my average is crippled for that and cal too. So I'm gonna unlazify and pull it up. So then after
Margaret, Sarah, and Petra all complained about how the chem hw was too hard I ended up doing it last night and split it with
Survam. It used to be I could just get most of it from Survam and Nicky, but now I actually have to do most of it. I get it
right, but I just don't like to do the work...so they seem to have realized that Survam is getting slightly annoyed at them
so Petra and Margarita have decided to get us a buffet dinner (note: buffet because they seem to have realized that we eat
like pigs. appearances can be deceiving. I don't even look like I can eat anything at all. Then...we end up doing the chem
hw for tonight too...predictable...but free pizza Friday afternoon for math club and then this saturday is the state tourney
at Clements that we host. If we get lucky the LAN party's gonna be up like last year.
1/26/04^[9:40pm]--So...bittorrent seems to be having some problems...and those problems are
becoming problems...and now I can't dl anything for some reason. Gonna fix that. Not much else...gonna prolly burn GB onto
a dozen cds or something. HD only has 70 gigs left. Filling up fast ever since we got cable. Chris is down to 900 megs out
of 40 gigs, and i'm down to 70 gigs out of 120. Before Cable- 97 gigs remaining. After cable-70.4 gigs. Still not enough stuff...I'm
getting fucked in bio...
1/25/04^[1:14am]--Long long day...woke up at around 3pm and went to Comp USA to get mom's
new comp parts. Price ended up around $800 but much better than wat u could get for $800 from Compaq or something. MSI mobo
cuz for some reason the Gigabyte boards were crappified and had 2x AGP!!! wtf. MSI had 4x and it was same price as my GT mobo
that's like 3 months old and also has 8x with serial ata and buncha other stuff. The hell's going on...Got 80gb western digital
hd, lanboy case, and a 2.6ghz hyperthreading p4. Turns out the case came with some external led lights that you can put around
ur comp. We didn't get those free last time...but pleasant surprise. So, being MSI, their boards were too crappy to support
anything higher than pc2700 ram and won't even cover hyperthreading. Mine did, but my current cpu wasn't an ht processor.
My idea: swap stuff again. Mom kinda knew what was going on, but it woulda been a waste if i didnt. Woulda wasted all that
juice. So before I left CompUSA I asked the guy that because there was thermal paste between the processor and the heatsink
fresh out of the box if the processor would be stuck when I tried to take it out to switch. Being them, they said it was no
problem. Being me, I thought: that doesn't make sense. Thermal paste=sticky. Cpu=hot. Sticky+hot+heatsink=cpu stuck on heatsink.
Safe way to remove the cpu would be to lift the zif lever (which is under the processor btw) so that it would be
released. Unfortunately I heeded Comp USA's advice and ended up with a dozen bent pins on the processor. Common sense says
that's not good news. It makes the processor unable to fit in the sockets and also...might just disable the thing totally.
So...I got a pocketknife (tweezers won't fit between the tiny space between the pins) and edged the pins to as close to perfection
as I could. After like 2 hours and multiple times of testing to see if it would fit in the socket, the pins were all lined
up and it went in. So...I finished up mom's comp and set things up to see if the processor worked. Lucky for me, it wasn't
broken. Woulda sucked for that $250 piece of silicon and steel to be crappified cuz of someone else's advice. Stupid Intel...they
should make the processors more easy to remove. I'm sure there are plenty of people who upgrade their processors sometime...so
I basically went from my 2.53ghz p4 to a 2.6p4 with hyperthreading. That might not sound like much, but it changes things
an assload. My comp starts up like twice as fast now and my animated cursors seem to have gotten steroids cuz they're spinning
fast as hell. Can't fix it tho...showered and gonna sleep...
1/21/04^[8:15pm]-- I have recently been receiving many telemarketer calls. This is what I
have discovered: Ever since that Federal No-Call list was put into effect, the system has changed. There is no longer somebody
on the other end of the line that you can say "fuck off" to or tell them that you dad's off in Cuba as a revolutionary fighting
Castro. No, now it's all automated, meaning they can send more messages in a shorter amount of time. This progression will
be interesting to observe.
1/21/04^[6:23pm]--Had only like 3 hours of sleep in past coupla days...so got screwed over
on bio quizzes and such. Did end up doing nearly all the chem hw cuz Survam didn't know how to do the second part. He also
seems to be gettin pissed at Margaret and Petra gettin the work from us. I don't mind, but apparently they wanna get him something
in return. Not wanting to be left out, I made them consider whether or not to get me food. Had 3 bacon/egg sandwiches
this morning...munchies bad...but still no fat. Installed mom's new comp at office today. Those Compaq's claim to run
at 2.5 ghz on a p4 but they slow as p2's. Can't even compare to the ones I built myself for parents. So now mom's pissed with
them being slow in comparison to the custom ones and thinks there's some defect. Today's Chinese New Year. Dumplings. For
dinner. Wh000.
About Wallace and what I've heard about his prom dress catalogs...I'm not really
surprised. His mom gets him confused with his sister, so it wouldn't be too unusual for others to do the same. Ha. HaHa. And
the new BoA cd I dled isn't as good as the others. Not enough vocals, too many weird noises. Hungry. H00 Hungry.

1/18/04^[4:50pm]--Up till like 3:30am dling stuff and chattin. Woke up and first thing I hear
is mom screaming about how the house needs to be cleaned. So...cleaned house. Think I finally how to stream audio for this
webpage cuz Tripod doesn't seem to offer audio streaming features like Xanga does. Gonna get a converter that makes streaming
audio and upload it. Think that's the .au format or something. Dling buncha more stuff...and based on mom's calculations,
my comp apparently uses the same amount of electricity as 3-4 refrigerators. I'm not sure whether or not I should believe
that...I mean, it's energy star compliant and all...but then again that's just the mobo. Still...I dont think 8 fans, a coupla
lights, a hard drive, lan card, and the cable modem could run up THAT much electricity...
1/17/04^[8:20pm]--Home now after fixing office comp. Apparently mom's comp at office always
froze when it shuts down, so I had to go over and check things out. Problem ended being a hardware issue and I had to reset
the status of the firewire and then everything worked again. Also saw buncha Clements ppl today...Saw Sally (note: he's a
guy...with a girl's name but he insists on pronouncing it "Solly") delivering pizzas...he apparently works for that Cicilian
pizza place by Wel Farm. Then right after that ran into Mr. Rubin, who was going to pick up a pizza at the place. Then after
fixing the comp, mom let me eat out. So went to Coco's and got another tapioca frap and a meal. And Mango walked in asking
me in a desperate voice whether his hair was straight or not. I told him it wasnt. He got some tapioca and started telling
me bout how he was playing 16 player Halo last night. Finished my meal and left and saw Sally again, who was telling me about
how he got $26 worth of tips in 1.5 hours. That's not bad...prolly woulda seen Margaret at Cafe East too if I went there.
Everyone's out on the weekends...The most Clements ppl I've seen at once on a non-school day...and for some queer
reason Case Western Reserve University sent me 3 huge viewbooks with their apps all at once...AFTER I ALREADY APPLIED. That
strikes me as both stupid and annoying. Kinda like junk mail, cept it doesnt fill up as much space in my mailbox.
1/17/04^[7:00pm]--Piano lessons, food, and now at parents' place working on their comp. Got

1/16/04^[10:31pm]--Well...interesting...got up at 8:30am today...ended up getting to school
at 8:50...also known as 30 minutes late for my second period class...I walked into class and Steinkamp was like "WTF?!!" Then
screwed up Calculus test cuz I didnt get time to study, watched Simpson's and Family Guy in English to broaden our current
lessons on satire, and dunno how I did on that Chem test. I'd say 50-50. Got back and picked up vials to drop off back at
school so Henry could clean em out. What a resourceful fella. Then went home cuz dad was leaving for China, and turned out
I had to pick up sis too. Even though it was like the tenth time I picked her up at school, the stupid educational beauracracy
insisted that they verified my existence with my parents. Then we left for like a 3 hour drive to the airport cuz of stupid
traffic. Left at 4pm, get to airport at like 5. Turned out we forgot diaper bag so got Bo to retrieve it. Dad ended up going
through the gates 30 minutes before his flight, which ended up being delayed cuz of the rain anyway. Currently at parents'
office cuz some guy had to fix comps at parents' place. Had dinner at Coco's, so my belly's satisfied for the moment. Till
I get home...wat an ass long day...meanwhile comp's at home defragging and dl more GB eps.

1/14/04^[8:45pm]--So...had the weirdest dream last night...slept from 11-7...weirdest dream...Walking
down a corridor, long an narrow. Saw someone up front, then disappeared. Saw another shape, two people. Then three, then six,
then twelve. Black empty eyes. 12 people...5 male, 7 female, ages 14-21. Odd...all staring blankly ahead...then I caught fire,
and woke up. So yeah, so much for that. Went to chem lab, and finished it before school ended. Went home, watched some GB
anime, and did hw. Not much hw tho...oddly enough...so tired...interview last night took like 6 hours out of my time...
1/13/04^[10:20pm]--Got back from dinner after another college interview. Lucky for me, I got
another recently graduated asian guy. Makes things much easier b/c recent grads are much more casual about things. Other
than that, still gotta get to work on my hw. Also got first five eps of GetBackers, which takes up like nearly a gig of space
on my hd...takes forever to dl...but oh well, it's not bad cept when the ppl keep repeating how they do what they do.
1/12/04^[6:03pm]--So...spent last part of last night fixing up dad's comp again and then watching
that anime Ev picked out. Slept at like 3 am because of it...and also all the food went to my head. We ate out. Had myself
a 6 course dinna. Still no sign of fat. Comp club this afternoon. Convinced Dick and Benny to get pizza. So ordered 4 large
pepperoni from Dominos. I was saying how we should get a cheese cuz the Indian ppl couldn't do the pork thing, but the sponsor
was just like "if they dont want the pepperoni then take it off." Well the flavor's different, but oh well. So yeah, apparently
there's supposed to be some deal with Directron or something about building comps. But since our treasury has more cash, we're
gonna have pizza all the way. On ep. 8 of Ev's series. I still think the storyline's whacked, and the plot movement is gorgeously
slow (yeah, I know that might not make sense). Animation is real nice, and the soundtrack is terrific. I still like it though...it's
very...different. Tired...prolly gonna take a nap before I study...laterz.
1/10/04^[10:45pm]-- So woke up, had lunch, and Nitesh and Angela showed up like 30 minutes
late for Govt. project. Then my comp started screwing up...but we got project done in less than 2 hours with powerpoint. Used
the demotivators and a scary pic of Al Sharpton, who isn't very sharp at all. Just got out of the longest ums SC game...Siege
of Mordor...some really epic battles goin on there...meanwhile...had a couple shitty tasting sunflower seeds in this batch...count
is up at 4655 seeds so far...I need to download music or anime or something...
1/9/04^[8:15pm]--Finished last of the apps and final recs yesterday. All done. So...stupid
tagboard fucked up yesterday. I thought it was just my webpage, so I checked Ev's. Her's was fucked up too...So I went to
Activetopic.com, which seemed to have disappeared off the face of the planet for the rest of the night. Got home today and
it magically seemed to be working again...dunno what that was about...aced cal quiz today...proof that u dont need to do hw
to know wat ur doing...Mrs. Stephenson's still pissed about that tho...especially with my 89 on final w/o doing
her hw or studying. Half that shit's common sense anyway...Then still gotta do my research on stupid Al Sharpton...seems like
every website hates him...well...he and Joe Lieberman both look like they're constantly constipated and just peed in their
pantZ. Lieberman's worse cuz he's anti-games and etc. Like the perfect retarded momma's boy. Or daddy's girl...hell, he even
tried to title his book "Joe and [Madrassa or something]'s Excellent Adventure," but lucky for him, his advisers talked him
out of it. What a stupid idiot...no way that guy's gonna be president...no common sense at all. Like the people who are suing
Blizzard because their games are soo good people are playing their games so they don't have a chance to play others and it's

1/7/04^[9:30pm]--Well...bio quiz was alright...finished problem of week for Cal, and nearly
fell from exhaustion in Chem today. So incredibly, undeniably tired. Not sure why, but just totally burned out. Also saw Kiser
and Balthasar today while going to the bookroom...had an interesting chat. Finished piano lesson a few minutes ago...and ass
to ankles tired...sunflower seed count at about 3997. Prolly gonna take a nap now...
1/7/04^[3:01am]--So...woke up at 1am to study for bio quiz...was gonna wake up at 11pm but
guess I overslept...started munchin on some sunflower seeds. Yeah Evelyn, I got more...new bag, new brand. These are good
too. At least 98% of these are good seeds. I've only had one shitter so far. Not to mention, they put these seeds in plastic
bags within a paper bag layered in plastic. Must be for anti mice infestation or something. Saw craziest thing though...found
one seed with 2 seeds inside instead of the usual 1. And then, also saw 2 seeds fused together at the shell. And turns out
1 was completely empty and the other one had a huge seed all cramped up. That brings up the munch count to about 4582 seeds.
I got like a huge bag full of shells now. Hmmmmmm...well done studying. So now my predicament is...a 1540 and can't goto college?
Chris seems to be having same problem. 1600 and he's worried he can't get into college. So ironic...and school begins...once
again...Bellaire started Monday, we started Tuesday, and Corpus Christi starts Wednesday...lucky Jas...
1/6/04^[7:00pm]--So...finished up all other apps stuff...then made some sliced lamb soup at
3 in the morning...slept for 2 hours and went to school. Did last recs and stuff and college apps are basically at an end.
Not that I'll miss them...got buncha college mail saying they received apps and all that stuff...so tired...prolly coming
down with the flu while I'm at it...ran to post office at 11:45 to get passport interview and then ran back to school at 12.
Had two quizzes in a row in Bio. Apparently the classes got mixed up quite a bit...I got exact same schedule, but I don't
recognize half the ppl in the classes anymore. So tired...and not surprisingly Russow decides to take the day off to "finish"
grading some papers. I'm just assuming he was having fun all through the holidays and procrastinating till today when the
grades are due tomorrow...parents had ground breaking ceremony...and we had a short chess club...so tired...college mail got
some cd rom from Carnegie Mellon...gonna take a look at that one...oddly enough, it's also the same university that owns the
company that hosts my webpage...and also seems to be the only people who use a color printer...guess the place revolves around
tech...
1/4/04^[9:46pm]--So I stood up till 5am last night (morning) watching the Red VS Blue flicks
(good stuff...good stuff...) and then slept till 12. Woke up, put up the Christmas lights, ate lunch, and went back to sleep
from 2-5 pm. Then woke up again, had dinner, mopped kitchen, living room, study, AND dining room floor...and that was fun.
So much for that...gotta get bio stuff done and passport app ready. So much for holidays...
1/3/04--So...here gotup around 12, did some sc, practiced some piano, and had lessons. Parents
going to some azn ppl party...I'll prolly stay home and order pizza or something cuz food at the azn ppl parties usually suck...
1/2/04^[8:16pm]--So I had another post up here earlier but Tripod was screwed up again...quite
often these days...so yeah, went on sc at like 5am cuz couldnt sleep, then slept till 2pm, ate, played piano, and yeah. That's
about it...how productive...gonna eat dinner now...
1/1/03^[6:17pm]--Woke up at 2pm, had some dumplings, and...went to CompUSA at 5. Dad's b-day
today, so got him a cake at Kroger, and got back home. And...that's about it so far.
1/1/04^[2:01am]--Happy New Year all...uploaded these two pics for the hell of it...drew em
a really long time ago...the first one's a colored dragon I drew in June of 1999 when I was in China spending a month in China's
Chinese school (the real deal). I got bored, and this is what came out of it. Took 3 hours straight to do, and teacher got
pissed and all, but I like it. Second one was from Final Fantasy VII, where I got bored and drew a depiction of how I'd think
Sephiroth would look a coupla hundred years from the end of the game...Click on em to get actual size pic (and btw...it's
ACTUAL SIZE so it's pretty big...but u get to see every pencil stroke and whatnot).
